Technology-facilitated gender based violence

Although the international communities have created several international agreements on protecting women against gender-based violence, the issue is still sadly very much present, and in some parts of the world increasing instead of declining. With the technological growth society is experiencing today, a new form of violence against women has prevailed, including the creation, and sharing of deepfake videos and images. It is important that the international community knows how to meet this kind of challenge.
